#LorainProud Meeting, Nov. 7 at 6:30 pm

The #LorainProud Movement will be holding a #LorainProud/Charrette check-in meeting open to the public at the Carnegie Center.  The purpose of the meeting is to:

·       Report out on the activities of Lorain Proud and the 5 focus groups

·       Update on QuickPicks

·       Review the expense report for 2018

·       Determine which of these initiatives will continue/move forward in 2019

·       Suggestions for additional initiatives in 2019

As one of the #LorainProud leaders Eric Newsome says, “So much of the community has shown support for what Lorain Proud is doing, in fact it is the community that has defined our goals.  Perceptions in and of Lorain are beginning to change.  The next step is to showcase some tangible results, something that shows that we, the people of Lorain can make a difference that everyone can see and enjoy.”

Everyone who wants to work to make Lorain a better city is invited to attend, whether you have participated in the past or not.  If you are willing to “roll up your sleeves” and work with other like-minded positive Lorainites, you are welcome!
