Our Carnegie Center will be closed January 1st - March 2nd. ​

Each year, we take this time to temporarily close so our staff can focus on planning upcoming programs, working on special projects, and completing important behind-the-scenes work.

We will reopen on March 3, 2026 at 10:00am and resume normal business hours. We will be open every Tue/Thu/Sat from 10-3pm in 2026.

Lorain Community Stories
We are pleased to announce that we have received an Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) grant in conjunction with OurStoryBridge Inc. to implement a new program titled Lorain Community Stories.
Lorain Community Stories is a two-year collaborative project that celebrates the city’s diverse heritage by capturing the voices and memories of its residents. During this two-year project, we will collect audio stories and related photographs and share them in an online platform. This effort ensures Lorain’s social and cultural history is preserved, honored, and shared for future generations.
