We welcome you to visit!

The Carnegie Center (including the Gift Shop) is open on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. The Moore House is open on Tuesdays from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. 

Individual Tours

THE CARNEGIE CENTER is open for tours on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10 am – 3 pm, and is home to the new permanent exhibits featuring the Lorain Lighthouse and Lorain Industry, the Children’s History Center and the Gift Shop.

Carnegie Center Tour Fees:

An admission fee of $8 is charged for all adults over 18; $3 for students age 6 – 18; free for children under 6 when accompanied by an adult.  Lorain Historical Society Members can tour for free.

THE MOORE HOUSE MUSEUM is open for tours on Tuesday from 10 am – 3 pm, and is the former home of Mayor Moore and his family during the 1920’s.  The Moore House gives visitors a unique insight into daily life during that time period.

Moore House Tour Fees:

An admission fee of $5 is charged for all adults over 18; $3 for students age 6 – 18; free for children under 6 when accompanied by an adult.  Lorain Historical Society Members can tour for free.

Group Tours
