Children’s Virtual Education Lessons
With the pandemic still very much a reality in our communities, we haven’t been able to bring young people to the Carnegie Center’s Children’s History Room as we would have liked to do in 2021. However, our Children’s Curriculum Director has designed a series of lessons that can be shared with educators and families everywhere, thanks to the increasing popularity of remote learning and virtual classrooms! The lessons are suitable for young people ages 6-12 (grades 1-5) and are aligned with the learning standards for the State of Ohio.
The lessons are rooted in the themes and history of the City of Lorain, but can be applied to classroom learning everywhere – whether in schools, at home, or as a fun learning activity for the whole family.
