Plein Air Painting and Drawing Workshop

For this workshop, we will be focusing on the great outdoors in the beautiful backyard of the Moore House! All levels of artists are welcome to come and practice the traditional technique of en plein air painting and drawing. Students can choose their medium of choice— drawing, painting, or both! Use viewfinders to find your composition and practice observing. This will be a fairly open program; the instructor will give advice and offer opinion/critique with students on an individual basis. Acrylic paint, brushes, and paper will be provided, but participants can feel free to bring their own supplies as well to work in other media.

Registration is recommended. Please call 440-245-2563 or send an e-mail to info@lorainhistory.org

Cost: $10 per person

This program is supported by a grant from the Nord Family Foundation and is presented in association with Firelands Association for the Visual Arts.
