Arts Program: Paper Piecing - Quilting 101

Learn how to create straight lines and perfect points in this introduction to paper piecing.  This is a fun and precise method of creating beautiful quilt blocks.  Participants will need to bring their own sewing machines; all other supplies will be provided.  Feel free to bring snacks or a light lunch for yourself, if desired.

This program will be held at the Carnegie Center, located at 329 W. 10th St., Lorain.  Space is limited, so reservations are recommended by calling (440) 245-2563 or by sending an e-mail to info@lorainhistory.org.  $10 program fee applies, payable at the door.

This program is presented in collaboration with the Firelands Association of the Visual Arts (FAVA), and is made possible by a grant from the Nord Family Foundation. Watch for information on future art programs, scheduled for July 20, August 17, and September 21.  Let's get creative together!
