History of Greeting Cards

Join us at the Carnegie Center for a special History Talk and Craft program about greeting cards.  The program will begin with a short presentation about the history of greeting cards featuring some special items from our collection.  We will then spend the rest of the morning creating our own cards using stamps, cutouts, and embossing techniques.  Participants will make up to five cards.  Cards and supplies are included in the program, but if you wish to use or share a specific decoration, stamp, or tool feel free to bring it with you!
