Carnegie Center
Parking
Visitors can use the parking lot located behind the Carnegie Center. The entrances to the Carnegie Center’s parking lot can be found on West 10th Street and Streator Place. The parking lot has a total of 37 parking spaces. Two designated handicapped parking spaces are located in the parking lot near the ADA ramp and entrance.
Entrance
The primary entrance is at the back of the building and can be accessed from the parking lot. Though the primary entrance is ADA compliant, it is not a power-operated door.
Elevator
An elevator is available for visitors to access the second floor of the Carnegie Center.
Handicap Accessible Restrooms
The Carnegie Center has two accessible restrooms on the first floor and one accessible unisex restroom on the second floor.
General Accessibility
The permanent exhibits and most public areas of the building are accessible, including our gift shop space. The children’s room on the second floor is not fully ADA compliant.
Moore House
Parking
A few parking spaces can be found to the right of the building on West 5th Street labeled ‘Moore House Visitor’. More parking is located on 5th street or across the street in the shopping center. Follow the pathways to cross the street and continue down the sidewalk to reach the Moore House.
Entrance
The primary entrance is at the right of the building and can be accessed from the parking lot. The primary entrance is not ADA compliant, it is not a power-operated door.
Elevator
There is no elevator inside our Moore House building.
Handicap Accessible Restrooms
No handicap restrooms are available inside the Moore House.
General Accessibility
The entrance to the Moore House is not accessible. Much of the building’s interior is not accessible and there is no elevator or lift available to access the second floor.
