Dr. Craig Semsel teaches American History at Lorain County Community College, and will be discussing Lorain's World War One Veterans who, 100 years ago, served in the U.S. Army. Craig has been researching Lorain's WWI Veterans for several years and in this presentation will share stories of what he has learned. This is the second and last of Craig's talks this year (in April he presented on Lorain's WWI Veterans who served in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.)
The soldier pictured here is John R. Danley, Marines. He was the first man from Lorain to die in World War I.
This History Talk will be held at the Carnegie Center, located at 329 W. 10th St., Lorain., beginning at 11 am.
