Lorain Proud: Final 2017 Charrette Conversation, November 16 at 6:30 pm

Lorain Proud is organizing the final 2017 Charrette Conversation to close out the year.  This meeting will be held on Thursday, November 16 at the Carnegie Center, from 6:30 pm to approximately 8:00 pm.

The focus of this meeting is to develop an "action plan" for 2018 around each of the five areas that were identified in the September Charrette meetings.  These five areas need improvement if Lorain is to be "The Jewel on the North Coast" five years from now, in 2022.  They are:  active transportation, downtown re-development, history/arts/culture, lakefront/waterfront and schools/youth.

If you attended one of the Charrette meetings in September or completed an online questionnaire, you indicated your first area of interest and we hope that you will come to this final meeting to join your ideas with those of your fellow citizens to create an action plan for 2018.  If you were not able to attend a Charrette in September and still want to put your efforts behind one of these areas, join us at 6:30 pm at the Carnegie Center.

The meeting will last until approximately 8 pm.  Light refreshments will be served.
